MEET YOUR HOST
Hi I'm Michelle, a Certified Light Sword Martial Arts (LSMA) Instructor and currently a PhD-candidate at Virginia Tech. As I continue to fight the good fight as a COVID-19 public health infrastructure builder for the State of Virginia, I’ve been training and teaching LSMA students for several years now, and still love every second.
As for Light Sword Yoga, a mentor noticed how much yoga I incorporated for my student stretches, and recommended I just go for it -- combine the light sword and yoga and get weird with it. With support like that, how could I not!?
The light sword is such a beautiful prop and blends seamlessly into yoga. So I further trained and successfully graduated as a Certified Yoga Instructor. From there I developed the Official Light Sword Yoga style and curriculum.
